I rate all the other Lowepro products that I own - 3 belt pouch/shoulder bags and a belt strap pouch and a photo back pack - 5 stars. So, this strap is a design disappointment. Lengthwise it's fine. I'm 5'7" and like my camera just above the belt line. Design weaknesses are that the buckle locks on the straps attached to the camera don't allow for attaching one buckle to the other when the shoulder strap is removed; handy for extra security in hand-carrying the camera. Also, the shoulder pad is stiff and has little give, making it uncomfortable. And, the release buckles release too easily. The plastic seems flimsy and the notches less secure than on other straps that I have with similar features. Finally, the "non-slip" silicon on the pad slips easily on my travel shirts. While the strap may be better than those that came with my Nikon cameras, I will not trust their safety to this strap and will stick with OP/TECH USA straps that have served well with my film SLR and DSLR cameras. They have the security, comfort, and flexibility that the Lowepro Transporter strap lacks.Customer Review: Unnecessary for me

I purchased this product because it came free with the purchase of my camera (pentax k10d) from Amazon. When my order arrived, I found the strap included in my camera package to fit my needs. I usually wrap my strap around my wrist instead of on my neck, and this strap is too bulky for that. However, this Lowepro strap seemed high quality to me for the few moments I used it, very comfortable and able to hold your camera securely. Just to big for my needs.Customer Review: I don't love it, but it works

Why I wanted it:
I didn't like the huge Nikon logo around my neck, I felt like it drew too much attention to me when I'm shooting in public places. I just wanted a generic strap for my camera.
Impression after buying it:
It's generic enough, yes. It's more comfortable than the one that came with my D80. I'm not thrilled about the buckles for quick release. A safety lock would have definitely made me feel a little more at ease with that. I only use one camera, but I guess if you use more than one and have to switch quickly, then it may be useful. I don't use the memory card wallet but it's alright and can be taken off easily (velcro).
All in all, it does the job, but I'm not CRAZY about it.
